Address verification is an important step that Onhop.ca performs to ensure your safety, to prevent identity theft, and to deter fraudulent activity. Due to the nature of online shopping, we cannot ask you to show a standard form of face-to-face identification, such as a driver's license. Instead, we verify your address through your credit or debit card company to confirm your identify and to verify your card's validity, both of which steps are designed to protect your safety, your credit and your privacy.
Orders with the same billing and shipping address are likely to ship the same day that you make the order.
If you want us to ship to an address that is different from the billing address you recorded with your card issuer, you will need to contact your credit or debit card company, and ask the personnel there to record your second address as an authorized alternative shipping destination. Once you have placed an order, we contact your card issuing institution, using the card number and expiry date you have given in your order, to verify the information. Thus, we may need an extra day to verify an alternative shipping destination.
We must verify both your billing and shipping addresses (if the two should be different) before shipping your order. Should we be unable to verify an alternate shipping address, we will notify you about this problem. If you have some difficulty in adding an alternative shipping destination, please contact your card issuer. Explain that you are making an on-line order and that, to protect against fraud, Onhop must verify your personal information before shipping. Then call us at 1-866-WW-ONHOP (866-996-6467) and ask us to try again to verify your information so that we can ship your order.
